Visual StSyllabus for all sect

Good afternoon.

It was great to see all of you in class yesterday.

Several of you are eager to start using Visual Studio. You can get a copy for your own machine through the MSDN Academic Alliance. You will find the information you need here:
http://www.acm.byu.edu/index.php?page=msdnaa

I believe that Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition will be sufficient for our purposes. If you find evidence to the contrary, please comment here for the benefit of others.

Looking forward to a great semester.

Can we obtain a copy of VS 2005 through the msdnaa? I could only see VS 2003. If we cannot, are we then required to either program in the labs or purchase VS 2005 to get the projects done?

Please note that the link I gave before went to a slightly out-of-date BYU ACM chapter site. It links to the Microsoft site: http://msdn07.e-academy.com/elms/Storefront/Storefront.aspx?campus=byu_cs&np1=112

At that site, you will see that VS 2005 is indeed an option.
