Tracking Bees with Radar
[Wired News: Decoding Bees' Wild Waggle Dances] I did some work with Jacob Sorber on using honeybee cooperation mechanisms in parallel error detection. This work maybe the next piece in the honeybee puzzle, which is, when a bee leaves the hive, where does it go? Tracking a bee in free flight across the countryside is a surprisingly difficult problem to solve.
