[Misc.] A scout trip on which nothing bad happened!
With all the scouting deaths, lost kids and other stuff one hears about, I just thought I'd mention that our varsity scout team went backpacking this weekend and nothing bad happened. We all got back ok. There was a cut finger but it only required a bandaid. Nobody got lost and nobody got struck by lightning.

[Research] Connection between HL BIR and LL BIR in the AST
[2.12. Thread and Function Declarations] Ok, this is going to be a little obtuse for most readers but the main piece of info I am looking for is on line 82 in figure 2.20 and the info is that threads are either implemented with High-level bodies or low-level bodies. I am interested in low-level bodies. My goal is to write a low-level BIR to BDD translator. To do so, I need to manipulate BDDs during a traversal of a low-level BIR AST. That's a lot easier if I know where the low-level stuff splits off from the high level stuff. Now I do and knowing is half the battle.

[Misc.] My Mom's New Library
[
Salt Lake Tribune - Search
] My mom's new library is set to open in South Jordan. She's been working with the architects and planers for quite some time. Its been good for our kids that their grandmother is a librarian who love's children's books.
My mom's big quite in the Trib (which now has RSS feeds!) is ... "I hope it will provide a gathering place that is accessible to our public. We are a diverse community that is getting more diverse every day, and I want people to see that the library will welcome diversity"
